Update: Walgett Community College High School to Re-open

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware, Walgett Community College High School was made non-operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students due to a member of our school community who tested positive to COVID-19.

The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained.

The school has been thoroughly cleaned and our school will be operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students from Monday 18 October 2021

Those who have been advised to isolate must continue to do so and follow the advice of NSW Health.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students is of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.

Comms – Mount Terry Public School

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware, Mount Terry Public School was made non-operational on 14 and 15 October 2021 for the onsite attendance of staff and students due to a member of our school community who tested positive to COVID-19.

 

The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This work has included identifying close contacts of the confirmed case.

 

The students and staff identified as contacts have been notified and asked to self-isolate for the required period.

     

The school has been thoroughly cleaned and our school will be operational for the onsite attendance of staff and students from Monday 18 October 2021.
